HOW DID WE GET OUR NAME?

Before opening the store in June 2007,
we held a "name the store" contest for family.

The criteria was to find a name to portray the store with its traditional hobby activities,
as well as promote new, fun and innovative products.

One of our nephews, Patrick Sauve, won the contest
with the name "Hobbies & Beyond".

Once the name was established,
we added the rocket and our store logo was launched !
The rocket illustrates the  'beyond'  in our name and
the store's  'Explore Your Creativity'  theme.

What did Patrick receive for winning the contest ?
His choice of anything in the store !

He chose a radio control off-road electric truck !
